Elisabed Imerlishvili

Classical Piano

Elisabed Imerlishvili was born in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia. Her piano studies
began at the age of seven, when she entered the musical school. During her
studying she became the winner of Bach competition and National Piano
competitions in Georgia. She continued studying at the Central Musical
Gymnasium for Gifted Children with Goma Gogia and later Tbilisi State
Conservatory with Professor Svetlana Korsantia. She graduated with Bachelor’s
and Master’s Degrees, along with Post Graduate Studies. Throughout her studying,

Mr. Imerlishvili performed numerous solo recitals and appeared with the Tbilisi
Symphony Orchestra under conducting of Revaz Takidze.

In 2000 Ms. Imerlishvili was the prize winner and awarded the laureate title at the
Markopulon International Piano Competition, Held in Greece.

In 2008 Ms. Imerlishvili joined the esteemed Alexander Toradze Piano Studio at
Indiana University South Bend and earned her Artist and Performer Diplomas. She
was awarded the certificate in recognition of receiving the Martin Fellowship in
Piano and full scholarship. Ms. Imerlishvili regularly performed with solo and
chamber recitals, as well as collaborated with vocalists and instrumentalists.

In 2009 Ms. Imerlishvili participated in Midwest Piano Festival and premiered the
compositions of contemporary American composers.

In 2015 Ms. Imerlishvili received a full time Graduate Assistantship and full
scholarship at University of Northern Iowa. She studied under the guidance of
Professor Sean Botkin and earned her Master of Music degree in Piano
Performance in 2017.

Ms. Imerlishvili was the winner of the UNI Instrumental Concerto Competition and performed with the Northern Iowa Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Rebecca Burkhardt.
